The module in this assembly is a slight variation of the previous and smaller rectangles [A7] are used to fold the 12 modules. I prefer this variation and had actually wanted to only include this variation.
The variation on the module exposes part of the reverse side of the paper, giving the module a 2 colour effect. Besides this, it also makes the assembly much easier.
The Rhombic Dodecahedron is a very interesting polyhedron. One has to view the actual model in it's 3D form to really appreciate it. Photographs of the model will render different shapes when viewed from different positions.
