Swastika Offering
Funerary offerings from burial T50/V of the Kerameikos cemetery, a child burial dated to 750-700 BC. In the foreground, a pyxis with representations of horses. Snakes wind their way around the horses, while the decoration is typical of the geometric phase of Athenian pottery - note the swastika. In the background a kantharos with a groom holding two horses. Taken in the Kerameikos museum.

Hey, I'm doing an object analysis on this pyxis, do you know it's museum call number?
