Anyi from Buenos Aires was visiting friends in the state Mendoza were she saw this carpet inspired on the symbols of the Mapuche.
The Mapuche are one of the indigenous inhabitants of south-central Chile and southwestern Argentina. Historically Mapuches were known as Araucanians (araucanos) by the Spaniards.
